Words and Worlds

Why does belonging mean so much?

When home doesn’t feel like home
but neither does anywhere else
so
we
wade through emotions,
wondering if it’s a
person
or
place?
Empty handed we spend
most of this newfound adulthood
belonging to no-one
nor
any place.
